Tenure-Track Asst. Professor, Physics/Math, Creighton U

The Creighton University College of Arts and Sciences invites applications for the Clare Boothe Luce Professorship which is designed to increase the representation of women in the sciences and engineering. The position is restricted to candidates who meet the requirements set down by the Henry Luce Foundation.

The position is for a tenure-track assistant professor who would be comfortable teaching in both physics and math. The position is envisioned as a joint appointment in physics and mathematics, with the goal of encouraging cooperation and collaboration between the two departments. Candidates must have a Ph.D. prior to chair appointment and a research record commensurate with the expectations of a chair position at this rank.
